Perry’s natural musical talents showed up at a very early age. At age 2, his gift of perfect pitch was discovered by his father, Sonny Rossi, a musician well into his career as Singer/Bandleader/Clarinetist at leading New York hotels. Perry began studying classical and jazz piano and clarinet within that year. His vocal and musical skills began to blossom, and he was soon composing and arranging music. With his father’s resources and guidance, a nightclub act was soon developed featuring Perry as one of the youngest entertainers in the world. By Age 4, Perry was featured at New York showcase theaters, and made frequent television appearances on New York variety shows and commercials. At age 10 the Perry Rossi Trio was featured on primetime national television on the Jerry Lewis Telethon.
Today Perry has many different faces... from fun dance music with his full band for weddings and galas, to making events truly unique with his "enFuego" band offering Latin flavors and international music or the "Uptown Jazz" group for corporate events. His broad Vocal stylings reach deep into the American Songbook material allowing Perry to entertain the high-society crowds both cabaret style and for upscale dance parties.
Perry can accommodate almost any style of music authentically, from Swing to Top 40, Reggae to Country, Rock to Jazz. He's known for 'reading the crowd' and personally helping to structure just the right music for each event.
