Continuing a hundred-year family avocation spanning 3 generations, Perry Rossi spawned his incredible talent as a child entertainer opening up for such giants as
Louis Armstrong, Tony Bennett, Count Basie and Cab Calloway.
By age 5, the seed of Sonny Rossi and his Orchestra of New York City,
Perry was featured on Piano, Guitar, Clarinet, Drums and Vocals
on television
appearances, theatre and nightclubs around the country.
By the age of 10, Perry was the leader and pianist of his own band
billed as
the “youngest jazz trio in the world,” and was featured often on national
television.
After focusing on his vocal talents through many years of study, Perry began
‘The Perry Rossi Orchestra’, a high energy eight-piece dance band,
which was immediately embraced by many of America’s foremost families as
‘the
orchestra to have!’
Now residing in the Boston area, Perry is dedicated to providing ‘exceptional
live music’, and prides himself on having both a huge repertoire and true
authenticity in performing so many musical styles.
